Brookfield, Wis.—Groundwater Awareness Week, March 9-15, leads off with the focus on current and emerging groundwater issues in Wisconsin at two statewide conferences.
The Wisconsin Section of the American Water Resource Association (AWRA) will hold its annual conference with the theme of "Great Waters of Wisconsin" on March 6 and 7.
On March 7 and 8, the Wisconsin Ground Water Association (WGWA) will focus on "Water Policy and Management" at its annual conference.
Both conferences will take place at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel, 375 South Moorland Rd., Brookfield, Wisconsin.
In addition to presentations by speakers, many of the state’s leading water resource researchers and professionals will discuss their work and the important challenges and future management of groundwater resources.
