****UPCOMING EVENTS****
Crop Decisions 2009 Series: Corn Hybrid Selection Workshop (December 3, 2008)
Due to the huge number of transgenic traits marketed in corn hybrids today, it is a significant challenge for farmers to wade through all of the information, including seed costs, to select adapted hybrids for their farm that will maximize profit. At the conclusion of the workshop, producers will have a short list of hybrids to choose from for their farm. Seminar will be held at the Portage County Annex Building, 1462 Strongs Avenue, Stevens Point, Wisconsin, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., on the First Floor in Rooms 1 & 2. To register, call the Portage County UW Extension Office at (715) 346-1316.
