| Extension
education makes the Wisconsin Idea a reality by applying university research,
knowledge and resources to the needs of Wisconsin people, wherever they
live and work. Faculty and staff with extension responsibilities are based
at University of Wisconsin-Extension offices in every county of the state,
at the 13 UW universities and the 13 two-year UW colleges. UW-Extension
also has programming partnerships with hundreds of federal, state, county
